Why This Project Matters

An inside look at life after lockup. Interviews with current and former prisoners. Elected officials. Policy experts. And original footage. Why do young people join gangs? How are on-the-ground communities working to disrupt violence? What does restorative justice look like? This project amplifies the stories of people impacted by violence who want a different future for the next generation.
